We all make mistakes. Some big, some small. Some people freely admit their mistakes, some try to hide them. Why is that? Why do we try to cover thing up? Why do we not want to be transparent with each other?
I'm a pretty open person. Anything you want to know, just ask. I've learned that covering things up takes a lot of work. I spent a lot of time running around covering things up, straightening things, making things look better than they really were. When my storm came, things changed. Sometimes it takes a storm for you to wake up and realize God wants to have a relationship with you. A real relationship, one where you are dependent on each other.
God shows them their sins and their pride. - Job 36:9 (GNB)
19You will be merciful to us once again. You will trample our sins underfoot and send them to the bottom of the sea! - Micah 7:19 (GNB)
We all make mistakes. As long as you learn form your mistakes and move on then your life will change for the better. When you don't learn the lesson that God is trying to teach you, you find yourself in the same awful place time and time again. Like a hamster on a wheel; running but not going anywhere.
The mistakes I've made
That caused pain
I could have done without
All my selfish thought
All my pride
The things I hide
You have forgot about
They're all behind you
They'll never find you
They're on the ocean floor
Your sins are forgotten
They're on the bottom
Of the ocean floor
My misdeeds
All my greed
All the things that haunt me now
They're not a pretty sight to see
But they're wiped away
By a mighty, mighty wave
A mighty, mighty wave
They're all behind you
They'll never find you
They're on the ocean floor
Your sins are forgotten
They're on the bottom
Of the ocean floor
Your sins are erased
And they are no more
They're out on the ocean floor
Take them away
To return no more
Take them away
To the ocean floor
To the ocean floor
To the ocean floor
They're all behind you
They'll never find you
They're on the ocean floor
Your sins are forgotten
They're on the bottom
Of the ocean floor
Your sins are erased
And they are no more
They're out on the ocean floor
Your sins are forgotten
They're on the bottom
Of the ocean floor
Your sins are erased
And they are no more
They're out on the ocean floor - Audio Adrenaline

Also, I think so many of us fear being wrong in this day and age. When did being wrong become so awful anyway?
This was a great post. THANK YOU.
